Malta Bend R-V School District The Malta Bend R-V School District is in Malta Bend, Missouri which is located on US 65 Highway in northwest Saline County 65 miles East of Kansas City and 10 miles West of Marshall, MO. Malta Bend has a population of 243 people. It is considered a small farming community. Malta Bend R-V is a Preschool through 12th grade school with a student population of approximately 130 students and 18 full time certified teachers, the student to teacher ratio is 7 students to every 1 teacher, which makes for a more stable and personal learning experience. Extracurricular offerings at Malta Bend R-V include: basketball, volleyball, track, and football (with Sweet Springs) for athletics; FFA, NHS & STUCO for clubs and organizations.
